I have a league how do I affiliate with ISSA ?
The ISSA offers many benefits to leagues that affiliate, the connection to FIFA and the greater soccer family is important for the game and the growth of the sport here in the US. Membership numbers and a voice can result in Park Districts allocating more fields for soccer, media coverage for the MLS and National teams increasing and sponsors being interested in supporting our programs and events. However offering a service to your players and teams that play the game each week is of paramount importance, whether it is providing better referees, structure and form to the league (issuing player cards), a disciplinary system (trial board), liability coverage ($2 Million) for the team, directors and officers liability coverage and player medical excess insurance combine to make it a good choice all around. Added benefits such as the cups program (state, regional, national and international) and the select teams (ODP) program offers incentives to the top teams and players to expand their horizons and potentially see dreams become reality. Please email us and request a membership booklet that outlines the costs and details the benefits: info@illinoissoccer.org
