The US Adult License course is designed for the experienced coach who has several years of coaching and playing experience. The focus of this course is to improve individual and team performance. This course includes field and classroom instruction on technical, tactical, fitness and team management. It also emphasizes methods of coaching, tactical principals, and understanding how to play in the attacking third, midfield and defensive third. The course will also emphasize on width and depth team shape and the introduction of pressing and zonal defending and more. Designed to meet the changing needs of today’s game, the US Adult License will also serve as preparation for the United States Soccer Federation National School.

Effective and efficient instruction that promotes competent game officiating
- Administer annual registration and certification of referees.
- Provide Linesman training for youngsters as an introduction to the ‘referee’ experience.
- Referees are trained from the beginning referee to advanced in-service referee for the more experienced and senior referees.
- Workshops and clinics assure consistency and technical knowledge of the Laws of the Game.
- Assessment of referees to assist in improving overall performance.
- Assignor classes to assist in identifying the most appropriate referee for a specific level of play.

Cups Program
Only ISSA member teams in good standing are eligible to participate in ISSA/USASA sanctioned events, cups and tournaments.

USASA National Cup entries for the Women’s Cup, Men’s Amateur Cup and Men’s & Women’s U23 will be posted soon. The Regional Finals will be in Ft Wayne, IN (June 16 & 17) and the National Finals are in Illinois! (July 20 & 22) – this is a great year to enter the National Cups!! The ISSA has been in existence since 1916 and is the governing body of adult soccer in Illinois. It is affiliated with the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
